I'm delighted to announce that I will be playing Kitty in Saving Kitty at the Central Square Theater this July. Nora Theatre Artistic Director Lee Mikeska Gardner directs and the fearlessly hilarious Jennifer Coolidge (Best in Show, Legally Blonde, American Pie) plays my whacky mom. Saving Kitty will run July 9 through August 2, and tickets are available here.
I've had a busy and wonderful spring directing Stoneham Theatre's Spring Shakespeare production of Comedy of Errors with a fantastic group of eighteen youth actors age 9-18. The public performance is on Saturday June 6 at 11am, all information here.
I'll be appearing in select performances of the UK Fringe sell-out hit Shitfaced Shakespeare, a co-production of Magnificent Bastard Productions and Cambridge Historical Tours. This wild and whacky Midsummer plays now at the Davis Square Theatre, and I'll be with the company until June 6th. My remaining performance dates are May 21, May 22, May 23, May 31, June 4 and June 6. Tickets available here and you can hear Michael Underhill and me being interviewed about the show (and getting quizzed on current events, gulp!) on WGBH here (begins at the 2 hour 28 minute mark)
Last weekend I played Anne Marlowe in Huntington Theatre Company's staged reading of Hair of the Dog (by Constance Congdon) for the Boston Theatre Marathon, a fundraiser for the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund, which raises money for theatre artists and companies in crisis.
